McCain Makes Historic First Visit to Internet – Borowitz Report
Given that the Arizona Republican had never logged onto the Internet before, advisors acknowledged that his first visit to the World Wide Web was fraught with risk.
But with his Democratic rival Barack Obama making headlines with his tour of the Middle East and Europe, the McCain campaign felt that they needed to “come up with something equally bold for John to do,” according to one advisor.
McCain aides said that the senator’s journey to the Internet will span five days and will take him to such far-flung sites as Amazon.com, eBay and Facebook.
I have nothing to add.
(hat-tip John Gruber )

Tony Blair managed pretty well as a technophobe. Not sure I’d be casting my vote based on whether he has visited eBay or not. I’d rather know if he can delegate rather than be a control-freak (no names mentioned).
The use of the internet etc in a campaign is down to the advisers and aides.
That is, of course, if the fracking service providers can actually deliver a decent internet service in the first place. I have now had three whole days without a problem. Should I be running a fracking campaign based on a 0.5Mb ‘service’?
BT should have been allowed to get on with their jobs rather than held back by this fracking gvt.
You opened the door…
