Nick Robinson’s blog post about his Monday night program for BBC’s Panorama titled Government in waiting? contained this gem of a misconstructed sentence…

David Cameron is tackled about his privileged background and that of many of his shadow cabinet who are millionaires by a single mother who works on one of Birmingham’s poorest estates

Who would have thought they shared a single mother?

She must be so proud!

UPDATE: I note with interest that Nick Robinson has started using different wording. His follow-up post had the same sentence written as “A single mother from one of Birmingham’s poorest estates tackles Mr Cameron about the number of millionaires in his cabinet”, and then there was the sly “Cameron and all those close to him were children of Thatcher (no, not literally)” from a later post. Couldn’t be anything to do with the visit that post received from a BBC IP Address, of course…

At least they do listen. Hi, Nick!
