By the time you read this, it may have been sorted, but Guido put up a post this morning titled “No More Boom and Bust” Double Plus Ungood Malquote which contained a list of Gordon Brown quotes (as seen on Iain Dale)
For the last couple of days somebody has been anonymously posting these links in the comments on this blog and over at Dale’s blog, Guido also received an email going around with the subject “Remember This”, The Times* made a point about Gordon redefining his recollection of “boom and bust” yesterday. You will have to remember because ALL the linked to quotes have disappeared this morning from the Treasury website. This is not the first time that some modern day Winston Smith has altered the past.
Somewhat ironically, Guido’s post has disappeared.
Could this be the work of IngSoc? Or is this Cock-up, Not Conspiracy…
