Also fine to point to comments but then it gets lost in the faint script. And – I liked my name in red, please. Ta.
Thanks for the feedback
I’m not sure I follow you concerning the ‘faint script’, sorry. As for having your name in red, you now have to provide a link to your own site or blog to make that happen. All the names used to be red, but that’s confusing – things which look the same should act the same, so links need to be a different colour to normal text.
Incidentally, the changes in the above two pictures look quite superficial, and the overall style of the site hasn’t changed too much, but it’s actually a complete ground-up re-write starting from a blank page. The previous theme was a hugely modified version of the fDawn theme by Frederick Fahlstad. I wrote this new theme entirely by myself – my first full Wordpress theme. The behind-the-scenes changes are huge.
Watch this space for more cool stuff coming from the web design side of my life – we’ve got some ideas in the works.
OK, no probs. Bye bye Tizzy.
The link to ‘Comments’ shows up OK until the mouse hits on it, then it almost disappears. The comments themselves are not a problem. Have I clarified – sorry, don’t know the techy terms.
Good work though, starting from scratch, if I may say so.
Don’t understand why ladytizzy isn’t showing – I’m logged in to my account on WordPress. Is there something else I should do?
This blog isn’t on wordpress.com so you can’t retain your wordpress.com login. If you want to make a link from your name in the comments, put a web address in the ‘Homepage’ field when leaving a comment. For a while I put OpenID on here so you could use your wordpress.com or google account details to post comments, but it was really buggy and annoying. I’ll put it back if you like – they might have updated it to get rid of some of the bugs…
The set is fine (latest version of firefox user). Posts don’t match but I’m guessing thats irrelevant.
