Blue Eyes: Democracy Isn’t Just Elections
I’m forever linking to Blue Eyes – I guess that just shows the quality of the blog. Anyway, must-read post today on the meaning of democracy, and it’s failings in this country. The main point is that democracy is more than just voting, it’s making the rulers accountable to the people.
I couldn’t agree more.
