The Conservative Party’s National Debt Counter

Awesome. Coupled with the tax bomb advert, we’re starting to see some proper marketing coming out of the Conservative Party. Here’s hoping it keeps up.

Update: and no sooner have I posted this than an email hit my inbox, saying it’s from ‘David Cameron’ (as opposed to ‘The Conservative Party’ like most of their newsletters) and addressed to me personally. That’s proper marketing – something we haven’t seen from the Tories since back in the WebCameron days.

Yesterday Labour dropped a borrowing bombshell on our economy and today things look even worse. Official Treasury documents show that Labour plan to increase VAT permanently to 18.5% after the next election.

Seems even more promising!
