Internet Censorship and Child Pornography
There’s a lively debate at LFaT on the subject of the Wikipedia page which has been blocked by the IWF – and therefore the majority of ISPs in the UK – because the cover of the album which is the subject of the page features a young girl with no clothes on1.
I disagree with A. Tory, I think that if the album cover is not illegal, the Wikipedia page shouldn’t be. Until such time as the image is made illegal, there’s no reason whatsoever to block the page.
You might remember I had an equally lively debate about this sort of issue elsewhere. Sort of.
Completely ridiculous and glad to see IWF do an about-turn. And fast.
