Joined-up thinking on car manufacturers
Blue Eyes bemoans the inconsistent approach that the government is taking with the motor industry: considering bailing out foreign-owned car manufacturers whose sales are dropping thanks to the government taxing and criminalising car-owners.
Noses, knives, spite and faces all jump, unbidden, to my mind.
Heavens above, who’d have thought that Max Moseley would be the Spirit of Christmas Future?
This unseemly queue for bail-out’s is starting to look like that of us ‘umble ones trying to get our few quid out of a bank around the time of the non-election…oh, I see now.
