		<description>I like being able to keep track of all the stuff I read regularly. A lot of the feeds I keep in there are not necessary for my continued existance - a large proportion of them can be dealt with with a swift click on the &#039;Mark All As Read&#039; button.

I find it useful when I&#039;m out and about that I can just grab my phone and always have something new and interesting to read. That makes it a pastime for me.

To each his own, though! :-)</description>

		<description>This is why I stopped using a reader as soon as I started.  They turn reading interesting posts into an obligation and a chore and mechanise what should be a pastime rather than a process.

I just use my blogroll to keep up to date with my favourite bloggers.
