For a while I’ve wanted to write a post detailing the connection between Darwinian Theory and politics. Like Richard Dawkins’ meme theory, but generalised into natural selection amongst political ideologies.
Whilst Darwin’s 200th birthday seems like the perfect time for such a post, I realised that the entire point of such a post could be summed up by the above paragraph, and anyone who understands evolution would be able to work it out for themselves from there. Plus, the second blog post I ever wrote was on much the same subject. It wasn’t particularly original or groundbreaking then, either.
So I wrote this instead.
And then I had a bath.
