The Chinese iTunes Gift Voucher Trick
It appears some enterprising Chinese fellows have figured out how to generate iTunes Gift Voucher codes, and they’ve been selling working codes to Westerners via eBay.
Half a year ago, when they started the business, the price was around 320 RMB for 200 USD card, then more people went into this business and the price went all the way down to 18 RMB per card, ‘but we make more money as the amount of customers is growing rapidly.’
18¥ is roughly $2.60.
UPDATE: This may not be a hack, but a scam involving stolen credit cards. Just so you know.
I highly doubt those 1000+ voucher codes came from stolen credit card purchases
Isn’t this what the Fed and the Bank are doing?
