Patriotism Is Not An Excuse For Racism
Blue Eyes is not happy with the way so-called ‘patriotic’ English football fans behave abroad. I won’t quote a passage, because it’s worth reading in full.
As I commented, and later repeated on Twitter, Patriotism should mean being proud of your own country. It doesn’t mean hating everybody else’s.
