He didn’t sack anyone, disappointingly, but Tory MPs are now going to have to publish their expense claims online as and when they make them, which is miles ahead better than what the Government are proposing. Also, all the outrageous claims made by Tory MPs are being repaid on pain of whip withdrawal. I think that’s a pretty solid response, myself.
If Nick Clegg has any sense he’ll announce that he’ll do the same as Cameron (or better), before any revelations appear about Lib Dems. What’s the bet that Nick Clegg has any sense? Anyone?
