Don’t Let Gordon Resign, Let Him Suffer
Alix Mortimer is on form at Lib Dem Voice:
How did we ever fall for the intellectual thing? This man simply cannot construct a sentence, his thoughts are like huge ice shelves ponderously crashing into each other over thousands of years. I had become a bit immunised to his curious dreadfulness at the despatch box, and was brought down to earth by a gentleman of my close acquaintance, who doesn’t usually watch PMQs, watching the Gurkhas session with me last week.
He is indeed truly awful – so awful that I stopped watching PMQs (or anything on TV involving that man) quite a while ago. It’s not that paint drying would be more interesting – drying paint at least doesn’t grin at me in an alarming manner. As @nevali put it, Coco the Clown would be a better PM, because “Coco the Clown would be scary for the right reasons”.
Alix goes on to say she doesn’t want him to resign but instead to suffer in office. I’m rather inclined to agree with that one.
Is there not a way in which we can make him resign AND suffer?
Surely that would be the ideal state of affairs?
Ten Things I’d Prefer Than Having Gordon As PM For Another Year
10. Put my dog down
9. Watch Jeremy Vyle every day
8. Install a pink bathroom
7. Emigrate to Afghanistan
6. Buy a Tata
5. Hope Australia wins the Ashes
4. Share a bed with David Gest
3. Have a sex change
2. Give up the internet
1. Have impacted faeces
Not sure I have the ordering quite right.
Yeah, I’d agree too, if not for the small point that we’d all suffer along with him!
