‘Overweight’ people live longer
Costigan Quist looks at the evidence and asks a very sensible question:
If being “normal” weight is both less common and less healthy that being “overweight”, wouldn’t it make sense to re-work the classifications?
And, as someone with a BMI currently hovering round the low end of ‘overweight’1, I fully endorse this idea.
Not that keen on living longer but yahboosucks to life insurers.
Or is it that skinny people die too young?
