Fatsos Wot Don’t Know They’re Fat
The Telegraph on a YouGov survey saying there’s lots of obese people who are “unaware they are obese”.
They are suffering from a new phenomenon dubbed ‘the fat gap’ which has blurred public perception of what is a healthy weight.
I like how it describes them as ‘suffering’. They’re obviously not suffering that much, though, are they. Else they’d have been to see a doctor about it.
Duh.

The title of this post suggests a negative link between obesity and intelligence.
Shame on you. When can we expect your endorsement of studies linking working mothers, optimism, and global warming with those you quaintly term as fatsos?
Jennie, precisely! I don’t really get why it’s anybody’s place to wonder along and say ‘oh, you didn’t know you are technically classified as obese? Oh, well you are’. As if that makes any bloody difference to anything. Grrr.
Tiz, the title is being ironic. It’s the most condescendingly trashy piece of research I’ve seen in a long time and I felt it deserved being mocked. Sorry if that wasn’t clear enough. 
Or they actually know what is a healthy weight, unlike the bloody government. It’s much much healthier to be overweight than “ideal” BMI.
