Jennie Rigg is unhappy with me (and unnecessarily upset with herself, for some reason) over the discussion about women in this week’s House of Comments podcast.
To be honest, I’ve already tried to write a response and failed. Having at least given Jennie the impression that I’ve utterly misinterpreted her once already, and then felt that she’s misinterpreted me in return, I really don’t want to go and misinterpret her misinterpretation once again. Those in holes ought to stop digging. I’ve met Jennie, she’s awesome, I had a great half hour chatting with her in Bournemouth, and I know for a fact that we pretty much agree with each other totally on this subject, we just have very different ways of expressing it. So, umm, sorry for the upset Jennie, I honestly didn’t mean it!

WAH. I really, really, really was angry at myself for not expressing myself clearly enough, not at anyone who had misunderstood (or who had appeared to misunderstand) what I was saying.
